Hena Venugopal is Innovation Strategy Director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), where she is responsible for leading the modernization strategies of SIFMU systems with focus on Distributed Ledger Technologies. In addition, she specializes in DLT Governance and Production Operations Management of Project Ion, with a goal of strengthening production stability and resiliency for the financial services industry. Hena has years of experience of deploying significant board deliverables for industries like Trade Clearance & Settlement, Insurance, Healthcare and Retail Industry.
Hena is also an advisor of Metagen DAO. She is passionate about women's leadership, she mentors the next generation of technology talent, supporting STEM and early-career programs including Destination Imagination, Girls Who Code, and Inner Engineering Institute. Hena holds an MBA in Marketing. She is a R3 Certified Blockchain Professional and has completed Fintech Disruption Technology Studies from MIT with multiple Fire Hydrant Nominations. She is an avid golfer and member of the Dallas chapter of LPGA Amateurs Association.
